| I haven't played for quite some time (round 35 or so) and I notice there are a few changes. First off it looks like crime is not very effective any more is this true? Is trading effective anymore? The exchange appears to open at a later time than it used to.
Any other differences? The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.

| Welcome back
Crime is as effective as president (just the money aspect), but you get no points. You get the points every tax payment, not at the end.
I guess you already noticed that you get a lot more money out of gathering. But on the other side you just get less money as president and crimer than in Round 35.
And while you get less money from criming or ruling, you get the same amount of money out of trading like in round 35. So its more important to trade. The end of the world...

| Wow, that's crazy.
So they really changed up the basics, I'm confused .
But do u have any disadvantages when you're gathering as a president? |
|
| not really, you just get less fanatics then rebels...
And yes, the basics were changed The end of the world...

| Oh, alright, thanks a lot.
Don't worry, I'm not gonna ask much more, I guess I'll have to find out on my own |
|
| Thank you
I'm bummed no one seems to Crime anymore, (at least early game) That used to be my specialty.
I guess this round will be spent getting re-acquainted.
I always traded before, and intend to trade again, but with the market opening later, it seems like trading is actually less important, trading was a great way to give you a boost in the beginning. The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.

| i think u can't trade in the beginning because u would get a huge boost i didn't played when u used to but what i heard is that u used to get a lot more taxes so the treading is compared to the taxes a more efficient way to get money many changes in this game were made to make the game more fair for people who cant play that good. u can't get killed in the hide, u don't get less troops when u gather in the hide, u can't get spied and u get a lot more money with fanatics than it used to be. |
|
| yup, i still guess there were a lot of bad changes, but we have to fit in
You can still trade, but not only to get a boost. I guess taxes arenĀ“t the reason trading is still good.
Now you should just trade constantly, so use more longer routes. You can earn more then a president with 200mio income per day. But this costs a lot of time The end of the world...
